Birdman wants to reconcile with Lil Wayne, Feeling that there is Light At The End of the Tunnel in his hopes to patch things up with his old friend. In a recent Media Interview, The Cash Money Mogul shared part of his side of the story stating that he is gonna heal the negativity between the two. He did not like how things went down and is going to do what he can to make things right. Lil Wayne has on numerous occasions put his father figure on blast at recent concerts in regards to the strained relationship which started as a twitter blast back in 2014.

Word had gotten out to The OVO camp that Meek Mill was telling Philly Hot Spots to turn down any appearances prompting Drizzy to call Meek a "Pussy." Still dissing Meek even on the stage during the show Drake again called Meek a "Pussy." Drake did not show up to any after events as he just dipped out of the concert venue immediately after the show.

Accusations of Sexual Battery Against Kodak Black
Kodak accused of sexual assault.
Just when certain things were bad, they escalated to worse as a warrant against him stating that Kodak Black is accused of sexual battery in South Carolina. The Florida hip hop artist has been in jail since may, with a release that was to take place last week after a one year sentence of house arrest. As the process for Kodak's release was being processed, two more warrants were found with one being a "No Bond Hold."

Nino Brown responds to Trick Daddy again.
The beef between these two Miami artist just keeps getting bigger and bigger, but mostly with Nino Brown addressing the issues. A few days ago Nino Brown dropped a diss record towards Miami's Trick Daddy Dollars on his own record, "Boy." Trick Daddy didn't take that diss record lightly and went on camera to call out all his goons to find Nino Brown and tie him up. He told Nino Brown that he should think about leaving town and going to another state because he isn't welcome in Miami no more.
The next day Nino Brown took to Facebook live to address what happened and told Trick Daddy that he isn't the one who started it but in fact it was Trick Daddy who started it. Now just two days ago this video comes out of Nino Brown doing a Facebook Live video in Downtown Miami. He states in the video that he's ok in Miami and that he apparently knocked out one of Trick Daddy's fans who said Trick Daddy told him to come and get him and thrown him in the trunk. He also put out a $500 reward for whoever was video tapping the incident where he knocked out the goon at a Waffle House in Miami. Throughout the video you can hear him talking about the entire beef situation, how much money he has, and he even calls Trick Daddy a dummy.
With all this going on and certain people taking sides, Billy Blue came out to address the situation between Nino Brown and Trick Daddy telling Nino Brown to chill out and not to mess with a legend. He also talks about a time where he had a small beef with Juvenile but tried to squash it because Juvenile was a major artist.
New York Post puts Ka on Blast
The New York Post has put Brownsville Hip Hop Vet Ka on blast just as Ka released his long awaited fourth album "Honor Killed The Samurai" just last week. The press is giving him front page for anything and everything other then is rapping. Claiming his rapping is about Dirty Cops with all Anti-Cop Lyricism they could dig up from past tweets and other Social Media postings. Responding back the New Yorks Posts comments, Ka posted a tweet.

Consequence admits to ghost writing the hook on Jay Z's 2003 track "Encore" taken from The Black Album. Considering it taboo for other artists he has written for, he discussed his role as an official Ghost Writer in The Hip Hop Industry recently as he stopped by Power 106 saying also he was quite content being a part of Jay Z's project.
Kid Cali fatally shot at Granada Hills Pool Party
Condolences going out to the loved ones of Kid Cali who was fatally shot at a Pool Party in Granada. The 28 year old Musician leaves behind daughter with another child on the way. L.A. Police are investigating the shooting trying to figure out who the homeowner is. 2 other victims were shot also who are expected to survive. Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg and countless other celebrities have tweeted out support for Kid Cali.
Target Stores leak new French Montana Album two months early
Due to some sample clearance issues, The new French Montana album "MC4" has been pushed back to October 14th for Official Release. One Target store accidentally had the album on display on some shelves on the morning of August 19th which caused some confusion. To clarify Epic Records and French Montana's management team confirmed it will not be available for purchase till October. There are some very lucky fans that did get to purchase a copy of the unofficial release. Epic records also commented that the official release will now have a different tracklisting on it.

[Rumor Central] Nas, Common & Q-Tip to Form New Group "The Standard"
Nas to join supergroup The Standard
Rumors are circulating that Nas, Common and Q-Tip are talking about forming a new hip-hop group, "The Standard." Back in 2007 Q-Tip and Common formed the group The Standard but we have yet to hear an album come from this.
Nas was asked in an interview if he planned to work with Q=Tip and Common, which he answered, "Definitely!" This is made many assume that there is a possibility that Nas was hinting on joining "The Standard."
If this happens this would be one for the books and one for hip-hop as all three artists have well over 20+ years in the game respectively. This would mean a lot for hip-hop fans especially the older generation as now hip-hops sound has changed. No word yet on an album release date but Nas and Q-Tip are both working on there next solo albums.

Diddy and Cassie Breakup and Cops are called to the house.
The On Again Off Again Romance between Cassie and Diddy erupted once again in a very heated argument after she told Diddy she wanted to break up. This caused him to snatch her phone before jumping of the the vehicle they were in. The police were called, just before they got there, Cassie did get her phone back. This did not stop the police from writing a Domestic Incident Report. No one knows for sure if this is the final break up between these two. Cassie has been reported to have been working in the studio working on new music.
