Beyonce cleans up at the 2016 MTV Awards.

11 Nominations led to 8 Trophies at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on August 28th. Some of the awards for Beyonce included Best Female Video for "Hold Up", as well as "Formation" from her album Lemonade.

Canadian Hip Hop Artist Belly's Popularity on the rise since signing to Roc Nation

Thrilled to be now officially signed to Roc Nation, Canadian Hip Hop Artist Belly says "I don't even know how to describe it, The feeling, its just surreal, I got signed to my favorite rapper" which is of course Roc Nation C.E.O. Jay Z. Since the release of the Gold selling single "Might NOt" featuring The Weekend, Belly enjoyed a successful festival run including Hard Summer.  Another career boost was the writing credit he earned from Beyonce's Lemonade Album. 

Consequence admits to ghostwriting on Jay's "Encore"

Consequence admits to ghost writing the hook on Jay Z's 2003 track "Encore" taken from The Black Album.  Considering it taboo for other artists he has written for, he discussed his role as an official Ghost Writer in The Hip Hop Industry recently as he stopped by Power 106 saying also he was quite content being a part of Jay Z's project.
